Starting in 1992, the United States began making a Silver Proof Set in addition to the regular Proof Set.
These Silver Proof Sets contain a Dime, Quarter and Half Dollar made out of 90% silver. Several of these Silver Proof Sets had relatively low mintages and they’ve seen remarkable price appreciation.
This set also includes: The Sacagawea Golden Dollar, the five state quarters of: New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Vermont and Kentucky.
