Empire is my favorite, probably followed by A New Hope. The latest trilogy was okay but the original trilogy was much better. Does anybody think Hayden Christensen was a good actor? (Hint: I don't)

Personally, I did not like him at all as Anakin in Episodes 2 and 3. About the only thing I liked about him was how evil he looked as Darth Vader before the decapitations. He just didn't come across as a very good actor to me. What are you thoughts on him from these movies?

But wait; was anybody a good actor/actress in 1-3? I think you;ve got to first look at the process before blaming HC ... Compare McEgegor in previous films (Trainspotting, et.al.) to 1-3 ... digital filmmaking has a long way to go incorporating acting into the final product ...

Now that I think of it, nobody was really all that good in those movies. I like Liam Neeson, and Ian McDiarmid, but that's about it. Some of the writing wasn't really all that good either. It's wierd that I even like these movies considering that I don't like most of the acting.

I really don't know if GL didn't give Hayden enough takes, inspiration or if Hayden can't act in such a Green Screen/ Digital enviroment. I say it like this because Hayden was actually good in Life As A House (2001). I mean, LAAH isn't my kind of movie but he still wasn't his Star Wars self in it. So many people judge him on his SW work to, so it's kind of sad because he's cast as this terrible actor because of it.

Star Wars Hayden= Neutral towards him

Other Hayden= Like him

Hey James Earl Jones did some EXELLENT acting, specificly speaking of the OT. All be it, it was voice acting, but acting none the less.

James Earl Jones is always awesome regardless of what he does. I was speaking mainly about the new trilogy though. The original trilogy had much better acting then the newer one.

I had heard that Hayden was supposed to be a decent actor, but Star Wars is his only work I had seen so that's all I have to go on. Probably too many people are in the same situation as me and only know him as a bad actor from the lesser Star Wars movies.

Has anyone heard anything else about those new TV serieses? I heard they were making a new animated one and a live-action one taking place inbetween episodes III and IV.

And what are your thoughts on if these shows will be any good or not. I'll go into more detail tommorow, when it's not almost 3AM. :D
